Bloggers on the FreeCharge Floor!

A while ago, we invited some bloggers to our workspace, just to give them a feel on how the engine runs. We got UP CLOSE & PERSONAL and it was nothing short of a delight, both for them and for us.

The day morning kicked off with the bloggers being served delicious breakfast in the Freecharge cafeteria. Then they were taken around the work space and were introduced to various teams running the big show here at Freecharge.szq_5635 szq_5631

Post the tour, the bloggers were welcomed by Mr Govid Rajan, CEO and the group had a candid chat up session. Govind spoke about the high quality user experience we focus on at Freecharge and the ‘No typing only tapping’ motto we’re progressing towards with our simple UI.mnzl6815The points he touched upon were:

  • At Freecharge, security is our number 1 priority! We have been voted as India’s most secure start-up and the second most preferred wallet.
  • We have deployed a number of proprietary technologies to deliver best in class security. We are compliant with all major security standards such as PCI-DSS compliance. Our wallet has very stringent protocols on wallet velocity, device fingerprinting, device encryption and identification and hold limits which are designed to trap and eliminate fraud.
  • We have a fully dedicated and independent security team. We have developed a homegrown proprietary technology ‘On-the-Go-Pin’ (OTP). OTP fulfills the RBI’S mandate for two-factor authentication and does not require even a single additional investment by retailers or a customer, making the transaction secure, swifter and in less than 10 seconds!

The day ended after a visit to the Customer Service team sitting in another building across the road. They were told by Mr Velu, AVP Operations  that most of the customer queries and complaints were addressed within 20 minutes that they came in throughout 24 hours of the day and 7 days a week!

They had a great day, we were told.
Want to visit us? Come stop by sometime. 🙂
